Sales engineer

We are seeking a Sales Engineer , preferably with experience in the beer and/or beverage sector, who has a proven sales background and is eager to advance their career with us. Ideally, candidates will bring industry-specific knowledge of beer and/or beverage processing and a successful track record in promoting and selling both stand-alone equipment and turnkey solutions to Unitec clients, while actively expanding customer relationships on a global scale.

1–5 years of experience in industrial sales or a technical field relevant to the role.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in English, with strong computer literacy.

Job Description

  • Build and Strengthen Customer Relationships: Establish and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients, aiming to meet or exceed annual sales targets.

  • Attend Industry Events: Represent the company by participating in trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events globally to increase brand visibility and engage with potential clients.

  • Frequent Travel: Travel extensively to engage with clients, attend events, and ensure a high-touch sales approach across different regions.

  • Facilitate Project Communication: Act as the primary liaison between clients and the project team, ensuring clear communication and smooth execution of ongoing projects.

  • Sales Outreach and Client Visits: Generate new sales opportunities through proactive calls and visits to existing and prospective clients, building a robust sales pipeline.

  • Develop Long-Term Client Partnerships: Understand and address customer needs to foster long-term relationships that support sales and business growth objectives.

  • Monitor Market and Competitor Trends: Keep informed on industry developments, competitor activities, and market changes to adapt strategies and stay competitive.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with team members and departments, including Project Execution and Engineering, to deliver comprehensive solutions that align with customer requirements.

  • Conduct Product Demonstrations: Provide engaging product presentations and demonstrations to key clients, with a focus on converting leads into sales and highlighting mutual benefits for customers and the company.
